National Fire Service Seat Belt Pledge

NIOSH has reaffirmed its support and participation in the United States Fire Administration’s (USFA) National Fire Service Seat Belt Pledge Program. Certificates are awarded to fire departments that have 100% of their firefighters pledging to wear their seat belts. Recently, NIOSH participated in a ceremony in honor of the Amarillo Fire Department’s 100% participation in the Seat Belt Pledge. Welcome to the 2010 LAFD/LAPD St. Baldrick's Foundation Fundraiser.
Please join the firefighters and police officers of Los Angeles as we shave
our heads and raise money in hopes of finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Events will take place at Fire Station 81/Training Center in Panorama City
and Fire Station 112 in San Pedro. Events will include a free IHOP
breakfast, entertainment provided by magicians, face painters, balloon
artists, and music by local radio stations. The Los Angeles Fire and Police
Departments will have their fire and police apparatus on display for tours
and photo opportunities for the children, so bring your whole family!
